Mixing it up with Cold Stone Creamery

As part of a new parternship with Kahala, Defero is happy to announce the launch of iMix America, a Cold Stone Creamery National Campaign focusing on the use of social and viral techniques in the QSR (Quick Serve Restaurant) marketing arena. iMix America pairs high school contestants with local Cold Stone stores, creating a national competition. Consumers can get an iMix code after purchasing a Cold Stone creation and vote for contestants and their personalized creations online. Votes are streaming in and the winner of the ’sweet’ grand prize valued up to $30,000 will be announced January 1, 2009.

Terrible Talk

On July 31st Defero President Mickey Lucas was invited to speak on the subject of digital media and its role in today’s marketing schema at Herbstfest in Primm, NV. Herbstfest is a quarterly gathering of marketing and senior management from Terrible’s Gaming properties around the country to share ideas and vision for future planning. Mickey spoke to 40 managers and directors. Defero is poised to assist Terrible’s corporate in their digital efforts moving forward.

Collaboration-o-Rama

Through a collaborative partnership with Marshall Fenn, Defero has been awarded a web services agreement to overhaul Casino Rama’s website, one of the largest Casinos in Canada. The project will encompass a wide variety of features and Web 2.0 tools. Working with Casino Rama helps bolster Defero’s burgeoning business with the casino operator vertical.
