Defero designed and constructed a new site for 7 Cedars, a casino and resort located near Seattle, Washington, that recently launched! The attractive new site integrates information about the various attractions of 7 Cedars, including the casino, the golf course, the entertainment calendar, and art inspired by the Jamestown S’Klallam Tribe.

Commitment to the Community

Defero team members Kate Thompson, Scott Patten, and Angelica Kenrick are staying active in the marketing community by taking the opportunity to participate in various local organizations. Kate Thompson will be on the Communications Board for the Phoenix chapter of the American Marketing Association, helping with collateral and site redesign, and Scott Patten and Angelica Kenrick have joined Ad 2 Phoenix, an affiliate of the American Advertising Federation. Kate, Scott, and Angelica all equally look forward to the opportunities that will undoubtedly arise from continued active community involvement.

Initiating Change

Defero recently redesigned the site for Initiative One: Institute of Business Leadership. Initiative One works to initiate positive change through open communication within organizations. The new site features an iOne Media Center, complete with video, audio, and news clips, as well as a product gallery where visitors to the site can learn more about and purchase Initiative One’s products and/ or services. Initiative One also assigned Defero to do their email deployments. In addition to the successful site launch, Defero continues to provide Initiative One with a targeted, managed email campaign that can now direct recipients to the fresh, updated site!

Going Global

In a continued partnership with traditional marketing agency Marshall Fenn out of Toronto, Canada, Defero is creating an advertising sales portal for Quebecor Media Inc, a broadcasting, communications, and publishing company operating a variety of subsidiaries including canoe.ca and Sun Media.  QMI operates many publications, both print and online, and Defero will help them streamline their online ad sales, increase revenue, and ultimately enhance customer satisfaction.

Rising in the Ranks

Defero is proud to announce that it has been able to leap ahead of many of the more mature agencies in the valley in terms of ranking in Phoenix Business Journal’s Book of Lists. In business to business marketing, Defero ranked 12th, and in Web design, Defero broke into the top ten, ranking 9th. Defero’s hard work, high standards, and knowledge of the digital arena will continue to push its reputation above that of competitors.
